LinkedIns New Notification Center for its Company Pages Makes Monitoring & Engagement Easier
LinkedIn, the business-oriented social networking service, is ideal for professional networking and growth. Its Company Pages allows companies to raise brand awareness, promote career opportunities, and educate potential customers on [their] products and services.
Company Pages are great for attracting new followers (who can become brand advocates), as well as generating business leads and strengthening current customer relationships by sharing valuable content via updates.
With the aim of furthering these objectives, LinkedIn released a new Company Pages Notification Center on February 17, 2015. The new feature lets companies more effectively manage and monitor all the activity centered around their company updates, as well as track mentions of their companies on LinkedIn. [See Figure 1]
Company Page updates provides an aggregated overview of the total likes, comments, and shares the Company Page has received. Company Page updates also shows how often your company has been mentioned by LinkedIn members on the platform.
The new dashboard allows users to view every publicly shared mention of their company on LinkedIn; view all the most recent likes, comments, and shares their company has received in a single view; as well as comment and like as a company representative in response to mentions about the company.
When multiple actions take place, the resulting notifications are aggregated into a single notification, making it easier for those who are managing the Company Page to oversee their companys LinkedIn presence.
Through features like the Notification Center, we aim to reinforce our goal of giving our members more meaningful content while empowering our customers to know what information is engaging with their desired audiences, noted Aviad Pinkovezky in the official announcement. We hope that youll find the new Notification Center helpful in creating compelling conversations on LinkedIn.
